Layers of Glass: Beautiful Sculptures by Ramon Todo
More at Art Front Gallery
Born in Tokyo, Dusseldorf-based artist Ramon Todo creates beautiful textural juxtapositions using layers of glass in unexpected places. Starting with various stones, volcanic rock, fragments of the Mur de Berlin, and even books, the artist inserts perfectly cut glass fragments that seem to slice through the object resulting in segments of translucence where you would least expect it.

Echo by Isabel M Martinez deals with the aspects of experience where the real, the known, and the imagined blend. Perception is a recurring theme within her work, and has become a foundation from which she explores ideas that reflect on notions of time, space, simultaneity, duration, and entropy.
